All you indie queens out there should recognize the name Sara Quin, from the Tegan and Sara fame. Well she’s here now to help Mr. London out on the single from his upcoming mixtape Lover’s Holiday. I’ve always adored Theophilus, he has always had a unique style that has echoed throughout his past mixtapes.
Real nice, laid back, almost 80’s feel indie/hip hop for you all to vibe to.

While mash-up artists like The White Panda, Girl Talk, and Super Mash Bros all have a pretty consistent style in the genre, the Hood Internet has always stood apart from the pack. Their combination of indie-hipster esque artists with hip-hop has always been a favorite of mine.
They just released their Waka Flocka Flame tracks mashed up with artists like Sleigh Bells, Boris, Crystal Castles and more. Below are a few stand out tracks from the bundle.

Not the typical sound you would expect to hear from Mansions on the Moon. Dope nonetheless. This is a cover track by one of the three gentlemen that make up this sick, up and coming electro group out of Los Angeles. In their short time together, they have collaborated with Pharrell and Shae of N.E.R.D. and Xaphoon Jones of Chiddy Bang.
They dropped their mixtape this past October and it was hosted and presented by Diplo and DJ Benzi. This should hold you over until their debut drops this year.
